Hey ITC Readers!
The other night, I was talking on the phone to my mom and one of our good family friends. Besides asking me when my next blog post will be up (they’ve been so supportive!), we were talking about the struggle to clean out your closet and get rid of things you’ve had for wayy too long.
It’s been a long running joke in our family that my mom will save literally anything (usually under the guise that her grandkids one day might want it). This year she tackled a massive clean out and got rid of so many things, one room at a time in her house. We are all so proud of her! But, I’d like to take a moment to be grateful for her pack-rat tendencies, because from time to time it brings me some vintage gold for my wardrobe.
Enter this vintage jumpsuit from the 90’s. My mom has always had impeccable style and is my #1 favorite shopping buddy. Even though I tend to clean out my closet a little more frequently than her, time and time again when she hands down amazing pieces from her past I am reminded of why it’s important to keep some things around. I do my best to save my absolute favorite outfits-you know those ones that you just feel fabulous in, and just have this connection with. One day, hopefully I can pass them to a daughter of my own.
I have been living in this jumpsuit lately. It is so comfortable to just throw on and go, and fits like a dream! It’s wide legs and pattern are super 90’s-but don’t you know the 90’s are back?
Do you have any favorite pieces handed down to you, with sentimental value? Tell me about it in the comments!
