The Perfect Plaid Flannel for Fall

The Perfect Plaid Flannel for Fall

Hey ITC Readers!

This weekend it finally felt like fall arrived! We spent the weekend at my in-laws cabin in Georgia, and I actually had to pull out a sweatshirt when riding around through the woods on the mule. Yes!

We met up with some of Battle’s friends on Saturday for the most delicious pizza, and I wore this awesome plaid flannel tunic. It was perfect-lightweight and cozy, and so cute! Now I have to admit, I am not normally a plaid shirt kind of girl. I love the look, but I just can’t stand button down shirts! Call me crazy but they’re uncomfortable and never fit right. Enter this perfect way of wearing plaid-all the cute cozy look but none of the discomfort. This cross-front design is fresh and on trend.

This flannel is from Trunk Up, an amazing online boutique with trendy but very affordable pieces. The prices are seriously amazing for how great the clothing is! They are a family-owned business and donate 10% of their proceeds to Global Hope Network International to fight poverty. If you’re looking for anything from casual plaid to a semi-formal dress on a budget, check them out!

Some other amazing pieces I’m eyeing on their website right now include this pretty and feminine blouse and this gorgeous printed maxi that can be worn in the fall. Both of those are currently 50% off with code “50clearance”!

I’m so with you on this- button ups really aren’t that comfortable! I tend to wear plaid tops as a like a cardigan or tied around my waist, but I love this alternative! The colors of this plaid too are gorgeous. I’m a little envious of you in these pictures… I’m big time allergic to horses! But you look gorgeous next to them!

Yes! Someone else feels my pain!! Lol I haven’t tried tied around my waist but that should be next-I love the look on other people. And so sad you are allergic to horses 🙁 They are such beautiful creatures. Thank you!
