Yesterday I had the best Monday adventuring around Atlanta with my husband and mom. We have been visiting my in-laws south of Atlanta, and went up to the city to run a couple errands.
First, we stopped by Sharian to pick a couple rugs Battle’s mom was having cleaned, and get some rug inspiration for the future in our own home. Right across the street was a little taco place, Taqueria Del Sol. I highly recommend this place-the guacamole and “Memphis” tacos were incredible! It was just the right portion for lunch.
Next, we headed down to Ikea. Our main reason for going was to check out their butcher block countertops. We’ve been planning a minor kitchen redo for our place to update the kitchen that is original to our 1960’s ranch. We want to plane down the cabinets and repaint and do new handles, replace the flooring, add a backsplash, and redo the countertops without breaking the bank. We hope to do this sometime in the next year!
My favorite find of the day was in the “As Is” section-a perfect Stenstorp kitchen cart for half off (the packaging was damaged but the cart was perfect). I can’t wait to do a blog post later this week showing how I incorporate this cart into my kitchen!
My outfit for this long day of running around was casual and comfortable but still cute. I have been waiting for a chance to wear these linen shorts-too short for the office but perfect for errands!
I love the olive color of these shorts!
This lace top from LOFT is so cute-sadly it’s sold out!
Been wearing these shoes and bag ALL Spring.
I will definitely be repeating this outfit all summer!
