Hey ITC Readers!
A few weeks ago I snagged this Adrienne Vittadini skirt from TJ Maxx with a gift card (my favorite kind of shopping-it doesn’t affect your bank account!). I loved the pretty print but what really got me was the Scuba material. I’ve been seeing it all over the place this year, from really structured pieces to more flowing like this gathered skirt.
I wasn’t sure if I would jump on the Scuba material trend because it felt so casual to me, but I really loved this patterned skirt and thought the feminine print made it softer and wearable. What I really love is how thick and heavy the material is-no worries about this skirt flying up in the wind or being see-through! This is my favorite silhouette on me (fitted at the waist but flowing free over my butt and thighs-I have to size up for things fitted through the hips).
I will definitely be able to wear this skirt in a variety of settings Already I have worn it to a baby shower and to church, but I can also see myself throwing on a cardigan and taking it to the office like this. I love versatile pieces that I can fit into multiple areas of my life!
There are so many gorgeous colors in this skirt to pull out, so I paired it with a hot pink top and baby blue bag.
